Some of the staff is extremely racist. There's a big issue with medical professionals sharing personal information outside the proper channels. There's a big issue with the staff gaslighting and doxing individuals. There is also an issue with staff members assaulting, harming, or killing patients.

On Feb 16, 2024, my husband fell and was rushed by ambulance to the nearest hospital, Morton. He complained he could not feel his arms and legs and he could not move. He defecated in the bed in the E. R and the nurse on duty would not adhere to my wishes to have him transferred to South Shore. The doctor released him and whent he the nurse pushed him to the car, his legs went out from under him. He could not stand. Short ending to a long story. Therefore a second fall. He was sent finally to SS Hospital where he was diagno... read more

I took my mom there for leg pain. I told nurses and doctors to watch out for her leg. With no regard they manhandled a 90 year old woman and when they took her for x-rays they snapped the femur. They was no apology by staff. She had surgery the next day. She was alive on the 23 and dead by the 30. Never seen a doctor to explain anything. They are now to busy covering there asses. Never go here if you want to die

boo never have I been treated so poorly at a hospital so much. Not only did they leave me strapped to the board ontop of glass for so long but I once went there and the doctore in the emergency room had the gall to call me fat. PROS: n/a CONS: poor service

Average Hospital Morton Hospital is your average small city hospital. It is struggling hard to become better. The nursing staff is great although they are under staffed. They have an Elderly Care Unit which is locked down. This is a great idea for those elders who are suffering from Alzheimer's and need medical care or are awaiting nursing homes. The biggest problem with this hospital is its parking and building layout. The hospital, like many others, started with one building and then added other buildings and extensions. A... read more

I had a total hip replacement 2 days ago and I received exceptional service. From the time I arrived a Day surgery, everyone was so very nice! I'm not sure if I remember all their names but Patty, Kathy, (OR nurse) Al, and Lacey and many more I can't recall were so kind and professional. Thank you all for making me feel confident before and after my surgery!

Morton Hospital has the worst ER in the area and the Hospital itself is Horrible, I know people who went in and were Covid negative and when they got charged they were positive,in the ER today they were catering to the druggies and alcoholics they're the ones that have the beds and are first priority, and nurses when they leave they talk how horrible patients are and they're sick of it, in my opinion the nurses are only there for the money and don't care about the patients.

I have never been in a hospital where patients are treated so poorly, and the doctor was arrogant and condescending. I would sooner go to Barnes secure in MD than Morton. My husband has been working in mass as an independent contractor. He does not have health insurance at this time. He hurt his back and the pain was so severe he thought it was a stroke or heart attack. We arrived at the hospital around 9am. My husband could not walk or sit and barely stand due to the pain the nurses at front desk were great namely Paula. T... read more
