Mortgage America dropped the ball! The afternoon before closing on a property, I received a phone call from Mortgage America informing me that I needed to immediately leave and obtain tax return transcripts from the IRS to bring to closing. Mortgage America neglected to take care of this routine piece of paperwork. This forced me to leave an important meeting with clients to correct Mortgage America's oversight.
