It's always a great day at the beach. I highly recommend Morro Bay. It's more peaceful than Pismo Beach as far as crowds. It doesn't quite have "everything" one might be looking for, but it's a great place to shop and relax. Weekdays are better than the weekend. Although a lot of people probably don't stray from the beach front shops, there are a lot of small businesses within the town that are amazing. It was a little hazy on our visit, but it was still great.
