My sister fell out of bed and became immediately paralyzed from her waist Msdown. Her neurosurgeon instructed her to get to Parkwest ER immediately by ambulance. Morristown EMS stated they could only transfer to Morristown hospital. Her spinal injury required emergency surgery which was delayed by at leaast 4 hours due to transfer delay. Her injury was exacerbated by the delay in transportation.
Went to ER boyfriend had a possible stroke waited over 6 hours left without seeing a doctor and they were taking pple before us shame
I am truly disgusted by this disgrace of an ambulance service. The staff is rude and administration is a joke. One of my family members were told the and a waste of time, after it took them over 20 minutes to get to their house. It’s sad that this is what we have to deal with in this county. What can be done to get a new service in? Maybe then we will receive better care.
