Morrison’s Lobster Bar is a hidden gem inside a beautiful setting overlooking, however just of outside Portsmoutn NH ! The steamers were the best I’ve ever had—perfectly clean and grit-free. The chowder was rich and loaded, the lobster was sweet, juicy, and cooked to perfection, and the oysters were incredibly fresh. They even showed me the proper way to eat a whole lobster—and I’m 61! Lobster roll was not satisfying in the least. Roll was buttered but the lobster was not tasty and the chowder was just soup with mild fish flavor. A few pieces of potatoes but no clams or lobster in it. A joke!!! I cannot believe these eateries get away with this.
Was told by family to go here on our way home…best recommendation!! The food was amazing, service was quick and it was great to sit on the dock.
