I recently visited the Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and it was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of plants, trees, and seasonal flowers that make every path feel different. I loved walking along the winding trails and exploring the small bridges and water features—they added a lot of charm. Morris Arboretum is a beautiful experience no matter which season you visit. This time of the year(early March) I enjoy looking at the structure of the stately oaks and the blooming witchhazel shrubs. Highly recommend!
This is a peacefull and picturesque place. The paved walkways are plowed. The finery is open. The staff is wonderful to deal with. Morris Arboretum is a treasure.
Not to overhype, but it's heaven on Earth. I've been a member for about five years now, and still haven't taken enough pictures or stopped to enjoy every special little corner long enough, because every square inch is beautiful. Highlights include; Everything. The Fernery, the Swan Pond, the Rose Garden and the Japanese Gardens are straight out of a fairy tale, and there is a large natural wetlands preserve with a path going about it for those who love birds and some pure wild nature.
