Front desk help is awful. $45 cancellation fee for appointment with no understanding of people’s lives. Needless to say I’m looking for a new dentist.

I had a dental appointment with Dr. Scott Morrell today and could not have been more impressed by the experience. From the moment I entered, I was promptly greeted and brought back for treatment. The office is modern, sunny and beautiful. Dr. Scott got me numb without my feeling a thing and then he proceeded to do two large fillings - I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! Dr. Morrell and his staff are very professional and friendly. My family and I have always been satisfied with the care care we receive.
The dentists and hygienists at Morrell Dental (now located at 403 S 11th St #200, Boise, ID 83702) do a reasonable job, however the front office is extremely weak in customer service. If you have a dispute with billing, like I did, they will be late to reply and refuse to negotiate. I will not go back there again.
Dr. Scott and his staff have been my dental office for 10 years now. I am always treated with the best skill and care. My teeth have never been healthier and if I need specific treatment, they've got me covered! example- I recently need a back molar extracted, Dr. Scott took the time to consult me on the previous root canal's lifespan and the costs of future work on the tooth. They were able and willing to answer every question I had. I definitely felt informed. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners.
