I had been a happy patient of Morning Star Dental since Dr. Lewis built the Star office. Imagine my dismay today when he informed me (due to some recent risk assessment seminar) that I could not get my routine teeth cleaning without agreeing to a "recommended" periodontal assessment, nor sign a waiver absolving him of responsibility for what he labeled substandard care, which "might" jeopardize his malpractice insurance - see the tail wag the dog.
