As a brand-new patient attending my very first appointment, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. My appointment ran nearly an hour behind schedule, which was incredibly disrespectful of my time, especially as a new patient who was unfamiliar with the office’s procedures. It is frustrating that patients are required to provide 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, yet the office does not seem to hold itself to the same standard when it comes to respecting patients’ time. I switched to Moriches dental with Dr. Silva upon moving out to Manorville. I was a patient of my previous dentist in East Islip for 40 years, so I did not take a decision about switching lightly. Well the experience at Moriches Dental has been outstanding. The staff is so pleasant, helpful and compassionate. Dr Silva is a gem for sure. Everyone was so nice. It was a good experience. Prior I was so nervous, but they really put me at ease and couldn't be nicer. The tech Mike was a sweetheart and Laurie at the front desk along with the other girls were great! Dr Silva was so good explaining everything. I still need to go back but now I will have so much less anxiety. I would definitely recommend Moriches Dental.
