Save your self the headache and do not buy a century community home, I been here 8 months and wish I would have done my research! Absolutely disappointed with Century Communities - Tennessee and SRM Concrete. My neighbor’s experience has shown that these companies care more about speed and quantity than real quality or customer satisfaction. Her driveway is only 6 months old and already cracking and flaking everywhere. Instead of standing behind their work, they blamed her for things like de-icing (which she never did) and the weather—anything but their own poor workmanship. If I could give Century Communities zero stars, I would. This builder clearly values quantity over quality and has no regard for the homeowners who invest their life savings into their properties. My neighbor is currently being bullied out of getting her driveway fixed—even though it’s under warranty—because Century is claiming she de-iced her driveway (which she did not). Terrible (almost) buying experience. Selling agent(s) were rude, pushy, and lied about the warranty several times. Tried to strong arm me multiple times into signing without reading documents. Selling agents seemed unaware of the differences between VA loans and warranties and the cookie cutter loan and warranty the builder offers. Seller refuses to conduct radon testing and refuses to let buyers back out if buyers conducted radon testing shows dangerous levels. Luke and Chris have been amazing to work with, but do not buy unless you really ask everything about the home. We bought our home while still in Construction. Never told us there would not be ceiling fans or back splashes in the home. Also, Dustin our salesman sold us on the bathtub and storage. If you’re a bathtub girl, do not waste your money on this upgrade. The hot water heater is not big enough for it to even be used. The water is cold before even getting close to halfway.
