Stumbled across Morgan's yesterday while looking for grub. Decided on the Lobster Ruben, and OMG FANTASTIC! Gooey cheese, chock full of sweet, fresh, succulent lobster, thousand island, mild kraut and dynamite pickled onions. Grilled to perfection on rye. It's not an understatement for me to say this is good enough for a last meal. All the ingredients are balanced perfectly culminating in a massive flavor explosion. Morgan's definitely doesn't skimp on fresh done right!
It was very good, but too pricey. The lobster roll was a little small. I'm originally from San Francisco area. I would have enjoyed more if it was on a good old sour dough roll.
just at there tonight, excellent. had like a fisherman's plate with fried scallops, shrimp and haddock. fries were fresh cut. everything was good. as was the bowl of clam chowder, yep in Truckee.
I had the surf and turf sliders with fries and they were EXCELLENT! My wife had a halibut salad and she loved it. The service was excellent as was the selection of beer! Highly recommended for a great dinner!
