The food was amazing! I've been in the business for 30 years. Not much excites me anymore. This was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Morgan himself stopped at our table to chat and give us some history. He's a remarkable human being. Can't say enough.
I ate a Pineapple Whiting Dish w/ Beans & Rice and Plantains from MORGAN'S ISLAND GRILL yesterday.🍲 The Caribbean Food here is amazing! I should have taken a pic of it and posted it However, it looked so good I did not pause for one second and just started demolishing the food. 110 Mercer St. In Hightsown, NJ is where you'll find this delicious food. Stop by and treat yourself. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Loved this place! Food was delicious, I had never had oxtail before and decided to try it and wasn't sorry I did! It was tender and seasoned to perfection, as well as the sides. The service was also great, very attentive, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The owner/chef came out from the kitchen numerous times to talk with our party of 8 - super nice guy. Will definitely go back.... hopefully soon.
My husband and I have been to Morgan's four times and each time has been a wonderful experience. The food is authenic and superb. The owner, Kenroy always comes out and thanks everyone for patronizing his restaurant. I love this place!
