STELLAR BAKERY I've been going there since I was a kid, for over 30 years now! It's the best bakery anywhere and has the best food. My husband and I travel all over the nation and have been in 100's of bakeries, none compare to Morgan's. It's just the combination of quality, home-town atmosphere and service and that family feel it has. WE LOVE IT!! Our fav's are the maple bars and oatmeal cookies. The kids go nuts for all the different animal cookies!
My 2nd Real Job Tahlequah: I interviewed at Morgan's Bakery and was hired in what must of been 2000 or 2001. I got the job and I thoroughly enjoyed working there. I rolled out the cookie dough and cut the cookies... made happy faces and tiger shapes (local highschool there was tahlequah tigers)... I made clowns and lions and the best part was someone believing in me. My boss. How often does that happen? The owner of Morgan's Bakery (at least at that time), was a fantastic boss. Delicious Great place, it has been around a long while. I like that the prices are good, the food is fresh and smells so good, and that you know what you are going to get everytime.
A fabulous bakery in business over twenty years! Morgan's Bakery in Tahlequah always brings back pleasant childhood memories. I'm in my thirties now, and it has been there from as long ago as I can remember. That definitely says something about their company! Even as an adult, just walking in front of their store, you can't help but go in! They have such beautiful delicasies, and you can smell them from outside! Skip WalMart--your kid's Bday is worth it! Morgan's cakes are outstanding--only two choices of cake (choc or white), but both are outstanding. The best part: they have the best cake decorator on planet Earth. We have gotten birthday cakes, graduation, baby shower, the works, and they will always come up with something fantastic and creative. When our daughter turned three, we took in her favorite book, and the bakery did a picture of the dog from the story. It was charming! Our daughter was ecstatic. Also, everything tastes ... read more
