This hospital is horrible. First, my daughter was seen by a know it all nurse (Isabel) who couldn't even get a needle stick on my daughter. Then, she was letting the needle rub against the tourniquet as it was going into my daughters arm. A nurse practitioner diagnosed her with a UTI and bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics. Went to another hospital and she had a confirmed diagnosis through a nasal swab that she had the flu. I went in for server rib pain I was in the waiting room waiting for a bed for 2hours once I got back there they inserted the IV and gave me medicine for my nausea and pain. 30 minutes later I was told they needed an X-Ray to determine what's causing the pain. Once that was over they put me back in my room and I waited there for at least an hour and 30 minutes now here's where the problem started . I went to the 2nd floor pharmacy hoping to save some time seeing as there was no line & nobody waiting. Boy was I wrong! I waited 30 minutes before I went to ask what the hold up was. First, the tech forgot to submit my med for processing, then when I went back to inquire 20min later they said they were waiting for the 1st floor pharmacy to bring it up, as they were out. I agree with the above. Moreno Valley Community ER is just horrible!!!. I went to Riverside County accross the street and was seen in 15 minutes!!! If you need real emergency care, go to a place that knows how to deal with emergcies. I learned my lesson the hard way.
My son fell out of a tree and hit his head on cement. It took 6 hours for him to be seen by a PA not even a real doctor. The knot on his head was the size of a grape fruit and no one would help us. It was such a bad experience I would hate to have to go back!
