Update as of 4 Oct 26 : food was good and same consistency but the potato salad was nasty and unflavored. It needs a severe revamp. Brisket and turkey were both really good. Mac and cheese was yummy. 2yrs ago:Food was good. Good local spot for bqq in south austin. Chicken was tasty and brisket was flavorful but on the salty side. Beans were slamming. If your in deep south austin check them out.
Not a good experience- the spare rib plate was served cold and ribs were dry and under-sized. When asked for better ribs the staff gave attitude about the request and mentioned that- " YOUR ONLY GETTING WHATS ON YOUR PLATE..." not the polite answer I thought I would receive. I wanted to mention that at Bill Millers their RIBS are much BETTER. I should have gone to County Line BBQ for better Ribs and polite service.
Anthony was a great bartender and has developed a really great tasting big red frozen cocktail, highly recommend!
Love this place. The Sunday breakfast is great and their beef cheek barbacoa (Sunday only) is unbelievable. I'd put it up against any other bbq any day (I mean ANY). One of my favorite things I've ever eaten in my life. The other BBQ is definitely top notch. One of my favorites in Austin. I think what really shines are the specials and the tacos. Brisket and BBQ sauce are some of the best I ever had. Sides (rice, beans, potato salad) leave a little to be desired with seasoning but still got the job done.
