The BEST Little Hospital Living in southern Virginia, I'm halfway between two hospitals - Memorial of Martinsville, which is probably most popular around here, and Morehead, which is only slightly farther away. Having experienced both, when it was time for my daughter to be born - and then for my gallbladder to be removed only a month later - I insisted on being admitted at Morehead. Wonderful Hospital I absolutely love this hospital. My babies were born here and I've had 3 surgeries here as well. Everyone, I mean everyone, is soooo nice. The hospital is well kept, clean, neat and well organized. I love the staff. They have an awesome Maternity unit and you are able to deliver in the same room you are staying in. They then go the extra mile and provide a special dinner for you and your spouse to celebrate. I love this place!! PROS: Excellent Maternity Unit CONS:
