I’m extremely disappointed with how this clinic handles communication and insurance verification. I switched jobs and insurance coverage earlier this year and scheduled an appointment well in advance. Still on Blue Cross but through a new group - Blue Cross is accepted across the UofU. They sent me constant reminders via text and email, making sure I confirmed the appointment multiple times. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone. They underdiagnosed my daughter’s vision . So it was not course correcting her cross vision. The Dr was pushing that I did surgery to correct the problem. Using the classic fear tactics to push me that direction. The doctor was not happy that I wanted to find alternative ways because I felt surgery was too invasive for my three-year-old. We ended up going to Cornerstone Vision. My husband took my daughter since I had to go to work. I came home and my daughters lower eye and cheek are extremely red from how hard Dr young was being with her. My husband informed me that Dr young was extremely impatient, frustrated and rough with my daughter. (He said the nurse was super nice though) Dr young should definitely not be dealing with children if she can't manage to be gentle and professional.
