So I have been going here for years, ever since the 1st owner. Howard has done a tremedous job! The food is outstanding and consistent. I have recently tried a local competitor and there is no comparison. The Brisket is smoky and flavorful but you don't lose the beef taste. My personal test for any BBQ joint is their Brisket. If the Brisket is good then everything else is good. If the Brisket is bad or so so, then I won't ever go back to try anything else. This place is fabulous! Ordered ribs, pulled pork brisket and link. All were amazing! I can't even decide which one I liked the best. Made our Superbowl party. And the BBQ sauce was fabulous also. Definitely will be back.
I"ve been there 3 times in 3 years. Seems like I wait so long between visits that I remember how much I didn't like it when I go back again. First time the baked potato was rock hard and everything was drowning in nasty BBQ sauce. The second time, I ordered a sampler. Side dishes were horrible, portions very small, not enough for 2 people and way overpriced. This third time, I got sick. Really sick. This time I won't forget.
We decided to do our office Christmas Party at Moose Creek and had about 16 people attending. They were fabulous at fitting us in, catering to us and the food was incredible. I know larger groups can be tough and they were completely prepared. The food arrived fairly quick, everyone had a wonderful time and definitely were stuffed when we all left. Thanks so much for having us and for making it a wonderful dining experience for us.
This is the best BBQ.. I come here once a month to and I always have to have dinner here. Great atmosphere and staff awesome
Whenever I'm headed up north, I ALWAYS stop and get BBQ here! Absolutely love it! The last time we went here we got there 15 minutes before closing and they were super nice and encouraged us to go ahead and have a seat to eat. They also served another TWO customers who came after us! Best BBQ ever and I've been all over the south!
The best brisket sandwich ever. My husband and I have to share because of large portion and they appreciate our military and offer a discount to those who have served.
