Really great for younger kids with lots of activities and daily swimming. However, once my daughter hit ten, she did not like it anymore. Not much different activities catered to older kids. They sat around a lot of times just waiting around and she was bored.
I have worked at Mooredale Day Camp for four summers and I would highly recommend the camp as a place to work or send your child! Mooredale has excellent staff-camper ratios, daily swimming lessons at Mooredale Pool Club, unique programming for each age group, and such a special community of staff and camp families. All staff receive comprehensive training and truly care about connecting with each camper.
