Drove up to Austin from San Antonio yesterday to see Tom Petty at the Erwin Center. We arrived early and stopped at Moonshine for happy hour and dinner. Food was soo good. We had the fried calamari and the corn dog shrimp for appetizers. Both were delish. In fact I had another order of the shrimp for dinner with the green chile grits. My friend had the hanger steak and Yukon mashers. The calamari was the best I've ever had. It's in a really cool historic building too. Drinks were great too. Sat out in the patio after participating in an urban adventure quest because we were hot, sweaty messes. We got there in time for happy hour and yes, we were quickly happy! Thank you!
Very relaxing!!!... flavors!! That's all I can say!!! And the best Old Fasion... wish I could remember her name .. the one that stirred it. Best I've had in a long time. Was there 5/2 at 7pm...figure it out!
