Really exceeded our expectations on every level--it started with a wonderful Austin ambience and went way better from there. Expertly made Manhattan, fabulous chicken and grits! Loved it and will be back as often as this Californian can. A new fave in Austin for sure!!!
Amazing food and service. I had the blackened catfish with the green chile grits for a side. It was perfect!
Service gets a B+, food gets an A+. My only complaint is the lack of parking. The only option is to circle the block for an hour playing musical chairs for one of the very few free street spaces or fork over $10 bucks for the valet. This is the reason I only venture downtown about once per year (at most) to dine. I'll be glad to patronize this restaurant a lot more often if they ever open a location away from the downtown area.
