Moons Coffee and Tea is a small batch roaster selling speciality coffees and loose leaf teas from around the world. We also sell flavored coffees made to order not mass produced like others in our market. Pinion coffee is kept made because we sell a lot, all others need at least an hour and a half to get ready so call ahead. We are also now selling great espresso and espresso drinks as well as hot teas to go so stop in and get your caffeine fix!

Started coming about 2 times a month almost 5 months ago, and it really is fantastic. They have a great blend used for their espresso (I believe) of Panama and Kenya AA that I absolutely love to brew at home with my machine. My only dislike is they focus more on medium and dark roasts. But if that is the only thing I can think of, that should tell you something!

Best dang coffee ever. It smells so good in there I never want to leave!!! Try the Organic Java Chip coffee. It's incredible!!!

Absolutely superb coffee, always very freshly-roasted. Fine selection, pleasant atmosphere, friendly folks. This is THE place to get your coffee in the ABQ area.
I've never found a better selection of fresh-roasted beans. They have ~20 varieties from all over the world at good prices. Just walking in here smells like heaven.

Best source for fresh coffee beans in Albuquerque. Been buying my coffee here for at least 15 - 20 years. Last summer I ran out of coffee beans while the store was closed for a summer vacation, so I had to settle for some tripe from Sprouts. The difference in quality was tremendous. What a relief for Moon's to open back up after that vacation shut-down! I have also received coffee gifts from roasters in Seattle and those as well did not compare to the quality of Moon's.
My husband and I dropped in for the first time last week. The owner knows his coffee and helped us decide on one to take home. The shop is neat and organized and fun to look through. The coffee itself is the best I have ever had. I won't be able to buy commercial beans ever again! We'll be back in a week or so for more :)
Hey Con, The Peruvian was great. Thanks for thinking of us. We always love your "thinking of you" choices, and save our first tasting for a Saturday or Sunday morning when we can really enjoy.
