The Moonlight Diner has the honor of being one of the first additions to the Denver International Airport area dining scene. Although the diner is miles from downtown, it is a convenient stop for those staying in one of the many new hotels popping up in the area and a great alternative to the pricey airport food. The American style breakfasts include egg combinations, waffles, pancakes and bagel sandwiches. Regular menu items include burgers, pizza, meatloaf, chicken fried steak, pasta and a scattering of fish selections.

The waitress was about as rude as can be and the food was overcooked. The last time we were there the waitress lost our order and left us sitting there for 45 minutes. Definitely recommend somewhere else

About 10 min into waiting an older gentlemen came in within less than a minute he was seated and greeted very sweetly as we still waited. We were waiting about 20 min when a group of 4 guys came in and immediately were greeted and it wasn't until they mentioned that we were waiting is when one of the waitresses finally acknowledged us. Liver and onions were ok. They did not have a full flavor and had a little too much pepper. The mashed potatoes were dry until I asked for gravy to put on them. The vegetable of day was supposed to be zucchini, but they were out or switched it with broccoli, carrots and something else. The size of portion was plentiful as I could not eat it all.
I’ve been here a few times, but this time was noticeably different. I was disturbed by the very evident racism I experienced today. The wait staff very clearly did not like anyone with a “pale” complexion. From being made to wait, to the very blatant refusal to speak or acknowledge the many “Thank You’s” given...it was just very disappointing. The food, however, was good.
Great breakfast place for flights in or out of Denver. Good food, quick service, all good!
Food, service, atmosphere were fantastic! This North Jersey boy loved it!
