We recently purchased a number of shrubs and a tree from Moon Valley nursery. Our salesman was Chase and he was extremely helpful. He spent an extended amount of time helping us make our selections. After a fair negotiation on price, Chase previewed the area to be planted on two occasions. The first occasion he was stung by three wasps & kindly returned on a future day to finish the job. Went to Moon Valley Nurseries today with my son in law after first going to Lowe’s. Besides the selection of plants being much better the expertise of the designer, Christopher Hall was amazing. He spent a lot of time with us and made great suggestions as to what we should plant. No high pressure sales talk. Very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Moon Valley and definitely Christopher as well.
Dishonest and misleading business practices. I called ahead and specifically asked if the nursery had Texas Persimmon or Texas Walnut trees in the size I needed. Richard confirmed they had them, so I made an appointment and drove 40 minutes to purchase. When I arrived, he walked me to an aisle and pointed at a Fuyu Persimmon, claiming “this is it.” Perplexed, I reminded him that was not what we had discussed. When I arrived Moon Valley in Carrollton, I was promptly greeted for assistance. Reggie was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased large planters today, but was amazed at the beautiful selection of trees and shrubs. Thank you Reggie!
As an avid plant lover I can honestly say this was the BEST nursery I’ve ever visited. The staff were very kind and helpful. Jeffrey gave us a tour and answered all of my questions with the patience of a saint. I’ll definitely be returning!
