Myself and a party of 14 came to Moon River last night for my husband's birthday dinner (our party was split into 2 tables by the hostess). An hour and half into dinner and a moment after we received our meals, the table I was seated at was approached by a different server who immediately tells us we cannot continue to sit at the table, and we need to move or leave as she points out a group of people that according to her have a reservation. Worst experience ever. Came to you outdoor garden for my birthday with 14 people. Had to wait 30 minutes, no big deal, got seated, ordered drinks, food, appetizers. Waited for 45 minutes, as our food was coming out a server came up to our table and told us we had to move, she said we weren't seated here and we have to move. We informed her we were seated by the hostess, she said we were lying and said she was getting the manager. They have a great selection of craft beers in addition to a delicious menu of burger/sandwiches. The building itself has a lot of character, as it was once a hotel dating back to the turn of the 1800's (they have their share of ghost stories). It's definitely worth the stop if you are in the Savannah area and well worth joining their beer club if you plan to stop by from time to time.
Been going there for a few years . The food and service are great . I encourage anyone in the area to stop by and have a drink and dine in there .
Every beer I tried was excellent, but the surprise was how good the food was as well!
Try the "bomb" stout it was awesome!! Also in a great location downtown.
Fun atmosphere. Amazing food and friendly service. We go here at least once a month. The prices are perfect for any budget and the food is top notch.
The Slow-Vannah session IPA is great! Had a few pints and then took home a growler!
Location is amazing... the menu looks great and locals recommended to try the Gouda scalloped potatoes... well the service was really poor, and the food cold when it got to the table.
