Great food and atmosphere! Love the small intimate feel you get with the bands.
Everything we had was amazing. The staff was great A+ dining experience!!
Place is rad! Get a reservation. Friendly staff, excellent food and drinks. My Truckee fav for dinner.
Couldn't get into Pacific Crest (our usual spot) so thought we'd give Moody's a try. We were seated quickly at a table for 2 that was so close to the hostess station I could have been the hostess! Champagne cocktail was good (it was our wedding anniversary) but the tomatoe pizza was extremely bland and no parmesean cheese or red pepper seasoning on the table. My wife and I have eaten at Moody's twice. The food was fresh and very delicious. The presentation was artistic and original. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. It has become our go to place when visiting Truckee.
A mixed bag French Onion soup was good. Served with a puffed crouton pastry on top... nice touch but the soup itself didn't rise to that fanciful detail. My burger though was exceptional *Moody's Burger* with cheese, avocado and a fried egg was really nice. But the fries were forgetful. Bread served before the meal was very good...
The key to this place is to go during slow times. When busy, everything slides. Bloody mary is the best ive ever had
