We ordered three pastas and two appetizers. Every one of them was delicious, especially the pastas. Each one was unique and reminded me of the food in Italy. With every bite, it was full of the umami and richness of cheese, yet not too salty or peppery. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the texture of the pastas was spot on. The shrimps were also tender and juicy.
Omg everything was delicious! It tastes like real italian food. We order the meatballs with burrata. Cestino al tartufo the pasta was al dente. And for dessert the pistache tiramisu. Patio is dogfriendly!
This Italian restaurant is a real gem. The guys working there are actually Italian, and you can feel their authentic Italian passion in every dish. This is real Italian cuisine, not Italian-American imitations or shortcuts. i checked this pasta restaurant out cause i saw very high ratings but got disappointed and confused. this is just my personal taste you might find it delicious there is nothing against Monzu or their food at all. -mozzarella rolls: the cherry tomatoes are not cut off completely (this might be intentional im not so sure), the eggplant wasn’t so soft and its peel made the bites gritty and with a texture that wasn't appealing at all. -cestino al tartufo: bucatini isn't the al dente i’d expect; it's hard and dry and gritty for... read more
Hands down might be one of the best Italian restaurants I have dined at. Our waiter was kind and passionate, and the food was cooked to absolute perfection. It is nice to see a waiter having so much pride in their restaurant's food and for the food to actually live up to the expectations. I got the burrata & peach salad as well as the short ribs ravioli. Definitely would come back again if the opportunity presents itself.
