Monuments Academy was once a top tier program, despite what some of the comments below might imply. Many of the negative comments seem to come from individuals who have only experienced this program and, as a result, lack a basis for comparison when evaluating RTCs or TBS’s. I graduated monuments 6 months ago. Throughout my battle with mental health I’ve struggled a lot and felt like things couldn’t get better. When I was sent to treatment it felt like I’d hit a new low that couldn’t possibly exist. Treatment can be very scary ,and there is always a chance the problem could get worse without the right type of treatment. I attended this facility from November 2022 ~ June 2023 (8.5 months) and am relived to say the least, to hear Monuments is finally closing. I cannot even begin to fathom the unprofessionalism that took place (residentially) Majority staff were young and attending the nearby collage (SUU) and or had little to no experience in the rehabilitation industry. Bro this place was so bad. I forced them to kick me out of the program and got sent to another one. I ended up completing the next program and went home. Now I have a job and am doing amazing in school. This place was terrible. Brady, Ben, Eric, Pj, Ms. Christy, Logan, and a handful of others were the only people that I personally knew had a good and caring heart. Monuments is shutting down. Leadership failed to enroll students, provide focus, and maintain trust. A disappointing end to a promising organization. Thank you for the many great staff who dedicated so much time and passion towards the students. Even though the academy is closing, the positive impact you have had on the lives of the students will last.
