We had such a good experience here. My child broke his wrist a few weeks before our family vacation. I called around to several ortho offices in the grand valley to see who would allow him to have a waterproof cast and this is the only office that even considered it and offered it for him. They are the friendliest staff and appointments were seamless. We appreciate Dr. Ackerson and his assistant Cori! Dr Scheffel is a tremendous person who entered our lives when our son broke his femur. He is caring and compassionate with a wonderful bedside manner. He genuinely cares about his patients and their parents. He is by far the best Orthopedic Surgeon in the Valley.
Well trained and knowledgeable staff located in a very clean and easily accessible location. This is a great opportunity to now receive orthopedic treatment in Fruita, CO.
