This still haunts me now that it’s been a few years. I was admitted into this facility seeking help and treatment but they had nothing to give besides mountains of drugs to make you numb. I was prescribed a massive amount of trazodone that made me unable to stay awake the next day. The “activity” was just walking up and down a hallway for an hour. Very unprofessional workers who make fun of those who need medical help for mental health. You go here needing help and they can do the bare minimum. At least the food was edible.
Bare minimum care. The staff here make fun of people who obviously need help with their recovery. The only good thing about my stay was the food being pretty decent. I'll never come back here.
When I was at the hospital for sh at 10 years old they didn't have enough room at the mental hospital so they kept me in the hospital room. They basically kept me in this white walled room with a white garage looking door to the left of the room and a TV enclosed in metal and glass for about 3 weeks. I was 10 years old, and during this time, I didn't know how to read the clock and stuff and there were no windows and I didn't leave the room even once. By all means if you have any kind of physical disability, This mental health hospital will use your mental health conditions to discriminate against your physical disabilities. Example: I was admitted a few years back and I am deaf, they took my deaf communication device (which is a app on my phone) away from me when I was sleeping. Then they offered it to me, if I only stayed in one spot, which is a whole bunch of BC. I did not hear them say " only if you stay in one spot", therefore once I got my phone I took off.
