I scheduled an appointment with Monty Owens for a severe depressive episode. I had temporarily left my home state, where she practices, to stay with family for support and safety. When I explained my location, she informed me that she could not treat me across state lines, which I completely understand. My concern is her complete lack of empathy. Monty is great! I’ve never had a provider prior to her that has ALWAYS listened to me and taken my concerns seriously. She handles every situation with kindness and considers what will be the best course of action for me as an individual. I’ve seen providers before that seem dismissive or that try a “one shoe fits all” strategy- I can honestly say I have never felt that way with Monty. I cannot recommend her enough!
