I was a frequent customer of Montvale Nail and Spa. Let their store in the foam flip flops they provided just as the first few raindrops began to fall. I slipped and fell down on my elbow and hit my head. Called the store the day after my xrays. (Nothing was broken fortunately.) No sympathy or kind words from them. No care at all. Only told me “we are all adults and you should have been more careful. They are not at all responsible. Please contact the Management of the shopping center.” Done with them! My nails are nice. But I didn't feel heard. The nail technician was rude and made decisions for me. She ignored my input and didn't even let me choose the color I want. She got annoyed with me for no reason. I read the reviews before I went, I figured that its not a big deal..... But, it really is. Even my nails are nice I am going to redo it with the color I like. If you want a pleasant experience DO NOT go here.

I recently had a gel pedicure here and while the actual service was well done a little fast but good., I was very concerned about the sanitation practices. I observed 2 nail technicians “cleaning” their tools by either wiping them with nail polish remover or briefly rinsing them in the my foot basin. The tools were then placed back into their apron pockets and reused for the next customer. This did not appear to be proper disinfection, and it made me uncomfortable and unfortunately this experience left me uneasy. I hope the ... read more
