I wish I could give them zero stars.
This owner is a liar and a thief. He charged $150 for diagnostics, which he didn’t even perform. Car obviously needed an engine. Car was smoking, lost horsepower, had a loud knocking noise, and wouldn’t accelerate. This car was basically junk at this point meanwhile the owner said “Pay me more money and I’ll take the engine apart to do diagnostics”. Then why charge $150 diagnostics ? I wish I could give this guy zero stars.
This shop owner (Bounty) is a crook and a thief. Charges diagnostic fees without diagnosing the issue. Then he gives you a hand written invoice that says "Diagnostics Fees" with no diagnostic details. Oh and then he charges 3% extra to run your credit card and then lies and says he's not the owner, that it's store policy. Let's just say, a rinky dinky shop with cheap tools/equipment that charges dealer prices ($150 per hour). Also, has his friends leave 5 star reviews on google. Stay far away from this waste of space.
Do NOT come here for basic car services. Bounty has: 1. been dishonest about my flat tire being unfixable 2. possibly taken my car for himself to use for hours 3. been condescending and rude 4. been a person who complains about his job and who is more expensive than others for whatever reason. 5. I stopped by for an estimate on an exterior door handle that had broken off. The man gave me an estimate of $300. Told me he'd have to take the inside of the door off and that the part cost $60, and that it was the cheapest he could find (and it only came in black-my car is grey). I watched a YouTube video and discovered it was an extremely easy repair that only used one tool, and did not require any dismantling other than removing a rubber protector and a small bolt.
