Inpatient unit doesn't answer phone - no voicemail
They discharged my sister with 24 hours notice, tried to keep her another day with an hours notice before the set discharge time. They discharged her with someone else's clothes, no supply of the antipsychotics she was prescribed during her treatment, no prescription order sent in to the pharmacy we put on file. Her social worker didn't meet with her mother when she came to pick her up, neither did the psychiatrist. This place did not give me meds as they should be. They completely ignored simple asking for water. Which should never be an issue for food an water. I felt like I was in jail or worse. Couldn't have a warm shower, yeah warm at least would have been nice, instead cold shower not soap to wash urself. And I the last day since they wouldn't for some reason a week give me my clothes. My daughter is 9yo. While I wanted our experience to be great, there were some non negotiables that really upset me. Communication - this needs to be addressed and better. While checking in they told my daughter to change into their gown for 24 hours - she did. But after I left, they did a strip search on her without telling me nor her about this during the intake - to me, this is wrong.
