Montilios Adams Street is a great bakery They have amazing cakes and pastry. Pizza is mediocre. The deserts are worth going for. Open late, convenient location, fair prices. Any occasion pies and nice selection of fresh breads.
Montilios is mediocre but worthwhile... Mediocre. I would say the pizza is good, but not the best even in Quincy. I'd take School House or Super Chef first. The baked goods are good as well, and they have enough varieties to make a nice platter for hosting company or to bring to someone's home or workplace... but there's better around.
delightful trip to montilios I ordered a rum cake from montilios for my mothers birthday. Let me tell you it was the best rum cake I have ever tasted! I also bought a box of assorted pastries to bring to the party, and they were gone within a matter of minutes of being on the table. Everyone I know loves montilios bakery.
Perfect! I used Montilio's for the cake vendor at my wedding. The cake was incredible!! They made EXACTLY what I drew and described. It was so perfect, it actually looked fake. It tasted great, too! We got gold cake with chocolate fudge truffle filling. A year later, we ate the top layer and it was just as good as the day of the wedding.
Delicious Beautiful Cakes Every cake we've ever received from this backery has been delicious and beautiful. Our wedding cake was amazing (4 layers with a design exactly as I'd hoped). My baby shower cake was unbelievable! It was a huge bassinet with decorations and basket weave frosting. At the height of the bassinet it was 9 layers tall! People were taking pictures of the cake it was so incredible. And even our everyday birthday cakes taste amazing. Definitely our favorite cake shop.
Pizza yes, bakery, no The pizza is actually quite good and worth a trip. The bakery items are absolutely wretched. Dry, no taste, etc. The cake for my niece's wedding tasted like sawdust. Maybe they serve something different for JFK, but unless you're a Kennedy, or royalty, I'd steer clear of getting a wedding cake from them. Unless you actually like sawdust. excellent wedding cakes Not quite as good as the old Montilios but still good. They have awesome rum soaked pastries (seasonal) They make the most fabulous wedding cakes around. Well worth checking out.
