I brought my cat with stage 3 kidney failure which included neurological symptoms of twitching and missteps to see Dr. Galler at the Monticello Pet hospital in Monticello MN in Oct 2024. My cat was being given, as directed and as needed an opiod pain med. Dr. Galler was notified verbally and in writing my cats symptoms, yet she deemed she had arthritis so was prescribed and given a monthly injection of Solencia. I was seriously concerned when I took my mastiff in because he was having trouble urinating. They did ultrasounds, Xray, and urinalysis. After the fourth day of bringing him in for a cathider to drain his bladder, and one day away from an appointment with a neurologist (because the “doctor” led me to believe he likely had a super rare neurological disorder) the ran another urinalysis. Amazingly they were able to tell me he had an infection!
