Having traveled a great portion of the known world....I have concluded the best bagel so far is here in this great little shop. Combined with their Pastrami, some provolone cheese and a little brown mustard on their marbled bagel you have entered a little bit of heaven!. The folks here were welcoming and engaging every time we stopped through. We made this a focal point on our road trips this summer to the Forestburgh playhouse! Thanks guys and looking for a return this summer, hopefully!
I love the bagel bakery I went there almost every weekend moved to tn and they ship bagels to me so happy.

We moved up here from Brooklyn this past July and yes, I have to say these bagels are 100% exactly like city bagels! We used to trek our bagels up with us when we’d visit, but not any more. These bagels, especially their *Everything Bagel* are supremely delicious!! And I love the drive-through, too!!
My parents grew up in Monticello, so Bagel Bakery was a staple when we came home to visit. It's the perfect bagel shop - amazing staff, cozy feeling, delicious food and coffee. I love these bagels so much that an Uncle who lives up in Monticello has brought me a couple dozen as a gift for graduations and even my wedding! I moved south and let me just say - bagels in the South suck. The South can do many things right, but bagels isn't one of them. Since I was a little girl it was a tradition to go to the bagel bakery after church on Sunday get bagels cream cheese Lox and the paper and enjoy bagels with the family now at the age of 35 I am still going in the bagel bakery on Sunday and having bagels with my family. It is a great place in Sullivan County make sure you make it a stop if your in the area. Friendly, Fast service, and the best bagels in town!
