Pros: -Better value than any other apartment in the area. YSU students, you are being scammed living on campus. I pay hundreds less than I did living on campus. And I have way more space and less roommates than I did on campus. You can’t beat the proximity to campus at this price. We were searching for the perfect place to call home and this place caught my eye , walking into the apartment the cleanliness was outstanding before move-in date. They had the floors professionally cleaned ! I have lived here in Monticello apartments for three years and enjoy it very much. Whenever I have a need or request, they are quick to respond and be helpful in every way. It's a nice community with rarely any problems.
I feel I was wrongly discriminated against by Monticello Apartments and Townhomes.This property has terrible customer service. I am originally from Youngstown but have been living out of state for some time. I am currently relocating back to the area. I came across this property and decided to apply. I was told I had an eviction on my rental history in which I was denied. When I asked for clarity I was denied assistance. This has been the easiest process to move. Although there was a bump in the process on my part, Sarah in the office was more than willing to help and find me and my partner an apartment later down the road that fit our needs. We look forward to moving into our new home!
