I recently asked for their help and was directed to the County shelter. They said their policy is to help animals previously adopted from them and to help Out-of-State shelters! They should help those IN the County where they are located BEFORE helping Out-of-State.

We adopted our Thor over there thanks to the videos that show the animals for adoption. In our two visits we could interact with him and all our questions were answered very patiently. The place looks always very clean and the staff cares not only for the pets in need ,but also for the prospective “pawrents”.

Over the past 14 years, we have adopted 5 cats from MCHS. The staff is absolutely phenomenal, always caring, and extremely passionate about what they do. I will always adopt my pets from MCHS, and I hope everyone else will encourage everyone they know to do the same.
I adopted the Most devoted and loving dog from there 4 years ago! Love them!
