Montessori Academy is fantastic! The teachers really care about the children they get to spend every day with. They also have special activities that parents and grandparents get to come to. They host holiday parties and educational field trips that the kids enjoy. My son loves going to school every day. He wakes up in the morning asking for one of his favorite teachers, Mrs. Preston. My four year old daughter has attended morning preschool at MANC for over a year now and I absolutely love it!!! They care for her and teach her during a time where we are welcoming a new baby into our family. The staff are such wonderful caring individuals; all with degrees or classes in child development or education.Her social and mental development has vastly improved and she loves going to school every morning! As this year comes to a close I want to thank Ms. Roe and her excellent staff at the Montessori Academy of Northern Colorado. Effective teachers are few and far between and I am happy to say that each and every teacher on staff is kind, loving, articulate and engaging. It is not often you find an environment so clean without being sterile visually where the children are so happy and well cared for not only mentally but emotionally as well. Montessori of Northern Colorado is a fabulous school. My kids have really thrived and done well socially and academically. It's very clean and Ms. Roe and her staff do a fantastic job. I would not put my kids anywhere else.
My family was very skeptical about this place upon tour. Against our better judgement we enrolled our child. The director is very unprofessional and takes thing personally instead of business and talks poorly about other schools/daycares in the area. The "trained Montessori teachers" are her kids and a bunch of teenagers in college. The oldest daughter and one other teacher there were the only two who were worth anything. My daughter has gone to this school for 2 years now. My only regret is that she can't continue because she is old enough to go to school now. If they had a grade school program we would stay! The staff is caring and wonderful. Most important she has learned so much.
