I started going when I moved onto MacDougal St. Fast forward 20 years and it’s my kids favorite place. The staff is attentive & helpful and the food is so, so good. You don’t last 100 years without doing it better than the rest.
All I can say was WOW! I was taking my niece to see a live band but we need to have dinner before that. We walked down the street and decided to have dinner at Monte's Trattoria. I was automatically excited because one of the specials was butternut squash ravioli. When dinner arrived and I started to eat, I was surprised. The pasta was just perfect, the butternut squash had amazing flavor, and the pink sauce...well, I was given more bread to clean the plate. Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante per puro caso. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e ci siamo fatti anche una bella chiacchierata sulle formazioni della squadra italiana di calcio degli anni passati. Ottimo pranzo davvero!
