Love this place. Daughter told us about it. Wonderful authentic Hispanic food. Refried beans with lard. They dont care that I have to bring my own white cheddar cheese in. I always get tostadas since I have food allergies. Hubby lives their queso toastada, nice and hot, spicy. Try it!
Green chili was watery...chicken in the tacos seemed like an afterthought. Tasted like chicken was made for tamales. Country fried skillet was just okay.
The queso will always keep us coming back for more. The Service was great, the food delicious. Monterrey House has been a tradition in our family for generations.
