Calls himself a pain specialist who performed surgery, he doesn't do surgery he performed injections, while I know they can be helpful to some but for me they do not. Your talking about injecting a jelly like substance into a space that is already too small for the nerves that are in there and you want to shove more stuff in like it's going to relieve pressure on the nerves seems counter intuitive to me. The office staff was amazing but the doctor is an absolute joke. Zero empathy and has zero desire to work with patients who are looking to get solutions for their issues, instead of just taking more narcotics. I told him 3 different times that I wanted to figure out a plan to help manage my pain and apparently, that is not what he offers. I have been helped greatly by Dr Montero's Spine and Pain Center. Since I've been a patient, my pain issues have been sufficiently managed, my mobility has increased exponentially, and my life is far better. I am so grateful for the ongoing back procedures and the pain management regimen that Dr Montero has provided. In addition, the nurses and staff are friendly and professional. Thank you so much!
