Really enjoyed my stay at Surf Inn. The rooms look recently renovated. I picked this hotel because it is all single level and the price was amazing. Also it’s conveniently located to Del Monte Center and downtown Monterey. Check in/ check out was fast and friendly. I really loved all the beautiful succulents around the property. I would definitely stay here again.
Guy that checked us in said our room number pretty loud to us (while other people were in the lobby too)… that’s pretty bad, quite the safety violation. We ended up cutting our stay short because of that, and he wasn’t the most kind either. Room itself was alright. Parking lot sucked.
Very cozy room, clean and had everything I needed,microwave and fridge.
