One of the worst in Monterey by far. Stayed here 3 or 4 times.
Excellent value, extremely clean, recently renovated, new comfy beds, very quiet rooms, efficient staff. One of the better motels I’ve stayed at. Would stay here again for sure.
Firstly, they are disorganized. They lost our reservation that we made through their own website and blamed it on the website. If their website doesn’t work and this is a repetitive issue why hasn’t it been fixed? Secondly the room that we received was not adequate, it was not properly cleaned and we found a hair in the comforter and in the shower. The front desk Sunny made us feel welcomed. He went out his way during late check-in to help us. He and the housekeeper are great hospitality professionals. The location was perfect, convenient and accessible to both Monterey and Carmel within minutes. The price reflects that this is not anything fancy, but the place is neat, from the parking lot to the room, worth every penny. I can say many more great things, but it's always the people that are the most important. In this case, Sunny is whom we will remember.
