I have insurance & no dental problems. I called for a simple cleaning and was told I needed a 1-2 hour consultation visit which would be a $110 copay. Then i would have to make a second appt to see the hygenist. The receptionist said it was “standard of care” in California. Hmmm, funny how no other dental office requires that. Outright scam. Beware.
