I lived here for nearly 2 years with my family. The maintenance team was the best I’d ever experienced (Jeff is incredible!), the management staff towards the end of our stay was amazing - Vince and Dayson are kind, organized and very helpful! The apartment has two parks we loved walking to and the community in this area is very safe. Decent ammentities overall, we enjoyed the gym. MONTEREY APARTMENTS OS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AND WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING THE MAINTENANCE MAN IS THERE TO FIX THINGS AND THE OWNERS ARE AWESOME
I lived here for 7 years and have mostly enjoyed the location of my building and how my place faced the rear wooded area. The grounds are very nice but not much is done to front exterior foliage of buildings. Rent kept increasing each year as well with minimal work done that I saw. I mostly enjoyed living here but I have to say the office staff at times seemed not very friendly. And then there was the move out procedure. Broke our lease due to a neighbor harassing us due to everyday noise at all hours of the day. Thankfully management worked with us and didn’t charge us extra fees. It was a nice place, but extremely thin walls (I could hear my neighbor sneeze/talk. I’d hear our neighbors yelling at each other late at night.) and very very high energy bills. ($300+ a month in winter due to electric heating) We also had disgusting kitchen cabinets/drawers at move in that were stained, sticky and made our whole place smell.
