The experience at this hospital was the worse. The staff at the hospital was so rude and disrespectful to people that was trying to visit their family members. I would not recommend this hospital for labor and delivery. They all over the place. It’s not the hospital itself it’s the staff that work in the hospital.
My sister in law received hyperbaric treatment for his diabetic wounds. I am not a fan of hospital per se, but the hyperbaric department is wonderful. The program director made our experience smooth and very pleasant. She was nervous at first but the technicians were very patient and did a magnificent job.
The excellent, expertise and hard work of Nurse Jason and Nurse Assitant Jennifer Can't and should not go unnoticed Dedicated workers who are professionals. They made a stressful and difficult experience easier
TL; DR: Go to a different hospital. I had a near death experience in December where I was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Typically I go to Montefiore if I think I need to stay in a hospital. There are some good Healthcare workers here. Unfortunately they're completely overshadowed by the ones who shouldn't even be in the field. I was in the ICU being treated by a nurse who was actively looking for work elsewhere, even going so far as to have me lower the volume on the TV so she could complete her call.
