We’ve had a very positive experience living here. The maintenance team is great—they are responsive, professional, and the property is always well kept. Whenever there are necessary issues, like water shutdowns, we have always been notified in advance, which we really appreciate. If I could give Montecito Apartments at Carlsbad zero stars, I would. My husband and I were residents here for three years. We always paid our rent on time, followed every community rule, took great care of our apartment, and even referred friends to live here because we genuinely enjoyed living there. Unfortunately, the way management handled our move-out completely erased any positive feelings we had about this community. Special praise for the maintenance staff. They're timely and extremely helpful. The complex itself is well-maintained, safe, and quiet, and the apartments include good stuff (A/C, garages, solid internet) we didn't have at our last Carlsbad apartment.
