They should remove the claim about treating ARFID because they are entirely focused on eating disorders regarding body image. This place did not help whatsoever, it only made things worse. I came here after residential and then they sent me back after three months because they did not have the ability to help people with ARFID. I’m sure they’re fine with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, etc. so if you are looking for that then disregard this review. I honestly can’t thank Monte Nido enough. I was diagnosed with ARFID upon entering the program, although I have been suffering from it since age 3. Through therapy, exposure, and encouragement I can finally eat more than like three things. I am truly thankful for what Monte nido did for me and hope they can help you too.
Monte Nido genuinely saved my life. Sarah runs both the residential at Winfield and PHP/IOP at Lombard and she is an amazing clinical director who has so much experience. Although Lombard came at the later end of my recovery journey, they helped me stay on the recovery path whenever I was struggling by reminding me of why I am doing this and instilling confidence that I can do this.
