I was seen quickly and Monte was quick to identify the shingles. He prescribed an antiviral. The one thing that I would definitely recommend for anyone else who is going through shingles, get pain meds. I have no idea why on earth he didn’t give me something that would help with the hell I’ve been going through. He recommended I take 800 mg of ibuprofen and 1000 mg of Tylenol and honestly that’s a lot of pills that barely touchy the fire in my head. Oh yeah by the way this is on my head.
